Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

As an essential service, Parcelpoint is open for business. Parcelpoint continues to deliver for all our retailers and customers nationwide during the government Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdowns. We’re here to ensure your packages are transported as smoothly as possible during these unprecedented times.

  • As an ‘essential service’, Parcelpoint will continue to offer its network of Click&Collect and Drop Off locations to customers and retailers nationwide, as well as our delivery services associated with our network.
  • ‘Signature on Delivery’ parcels may be changed to ‘Authority to Leave’ to reduce the contact necessary between the customer and the driver, if the driver deems there is a safe place to leave the parcel.
  • ‘Courier Pickup’ is a safe option if you are self isolating at home or avoiding contact with others. Make sure your parcel is left in a safe place by leaving a message in the ‘Special Instructions’ section of your booking.

Most of our network is made up of essential services such as pharmacies and convenience stores, which at this time will remain open through our national lockdown. However, before you go to the store, check that their opening hours haven’t changed using our ‘Find a Store’ page.

We are keeping close attention to the health and safety guidelines communicated by the Australian Government and World Health Organisation (WHO), and have taken additional measures to protect the health and safety of our customers, drivers and agents.
These include, but not limited to:

  • Not shaking hands or touching others
  • Staying 2 metre away from other people both indoors and outdoors
  • Washing hands with soap and water for 20 seconds
  • Using a tissue or elbow to cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing
  • Disposing of tissues in a rubbish or trash bin
  • Wiping surfaces with disinfectant after use
  • Sighting ID at a distance of 1.5 metres from the counter

To that end, we ask that everyone practices social distancing and good hygiene in all aspects of their lives, to reduce the spread of the virus.

As people go into lockdown in Australia and across the world, retailers are moving their businesses online to continue providing their products and services amid the situation. All retailers that have partnered with us have presence online, and are committed to continually providing a great customer experience through Parcelpoint Click&Collect and Return services.

At Parcelpoint we are committed to doing all we can for our customers and retailers in this unprecedented times. We will continue to update our communications surrounding our services as they arise.

Thank you for you patience and understanding during this time.
